SONEs had been anxiously anticipating ticketing
details for the 2011 Girls' Generation Tour in Singapore
to be released, since the date of the concert was announced.
With an estimated production cost of S$1.8 million, the concert
sets the record for being the most expensive production among all the K-Pop
concerts held here. Super Junior and SHINee's concerts here were produced at a
cost of S$1.5 million.
A total of 5,500 tickets will be available for
sale with more than 2,000 tickets allocated to the three standing mosh pit
areas and tickets to the 2011 Girls' Generation Tour in
Singapore are priced at S$218 (Terrace/Mosh pit) and S$168
(Balcony/Partially-restricted).
Ticket sales will begin on Nov 1 (Tue) through SISTIC online,
counter and phone bookings. Priority ticket bookings for OCBC and Samsung
customers will begin on Oct 29 (Sat), via SISTIC online, phone and counter
bookings. All customers are limited to 6 tickets per transaction.
The 2011 Girls' Generation
Tour in Singapore -- to be held on Dec 9, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium
-- will showcase a three-hour visual treat of sexy dance choreography, with a
display of special effects including laser beams, LED screens, trapezes and
elevated platforms.
"Based on the feedback received on Facebook and Twitter, along
with the dozens of calls and emails we receive every day, we expect sales of
the tickets to move swiftly," Beatrice Chia-Richmond, the managing director and
creative director of Running Into The Sun, said.
The 2011 Girls' Generation
Tour is jointly organised by Running Into The Sun and
Conceptual.
